Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the American Dogs app and website (the “Service”), operated by Fabrechew LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

American Dogs is a platform that helps dog owners log walks and care, view breed-aware recommendations, and connect with independent walkers/caregivers (“Providers”) for walks, drop-in visits, day care, and boarding. We are a technology platform; Providers are independent and are not our employees.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.
• You may use the App as an owner, a walker/caregiver, or both.

3. Bookings, payments & fees

• Prices are set by Providers (including any multiple-dog pricing). Bookings, including multiple-dog and multi-day bookings, are charged the total shown at checkout.
• Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). You authorize the applicable charges.
• We may charge a service/platform fee, which will be disclosed before you pay.
• Cancellation and refund terms are shown at the time of booking and may vary by service.

4. Provider responsibilities

Providers agree to deliver services with reasonable care, follow applicable laws and local rules (including leash and pack-size rules), and provide accurate information. Background checks, where offered, support but do not guarantee suitability.

5. Health & safety — information, not advice

Walk-time, calorie, breed, dietary, toxic-food, and health information in the App is provided for general educational purposes only and is not veterinary advice. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for your dog’s health and diet. In a suspected poisoning or emergency, contact your veterinarian or the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at (888) 426-4435. You are responsible for your dog’s wellbeing and for decisions you make based on App information.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service, including by providing false information, harassing others, infringing rights, attempting to access data you’re not authorized to, or using the Service for unlawful purposes.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fabrechew LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant booking. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some may not apply to you.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for safety or legal reasons.

9. Governing law & changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
