Common questions
How do I book a walk or care service?
Add your dog under “My Dogs”, then choose “Find Walkers” or “Find Care”, pick a provider and time, and confirm. You can select more than one dog in a single booking.
How does multiple-dog pricing work?
The first dog is charged the provider’s full price and each additional dog is charged at the provider’s discounted rate. The total is shown before you confirm.
Is the breed, diet, and health information veterinary advice?
No. It is general educational information only. Always consult a licensed veterinarian. In an emergency or suspected poisoning, contact your vet or the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at (888) 426-4435.
How do I delete my account?
You can do it yourself, right away. On the website, open My Account and choose “Delete my account”; in the app, open Edit profile and choose Delete account. We remove your personal data, except records we’re required to keep by law. If you can no longer sign in, email info@fabrechew.com from your account email address and we’ll verify and delete it for you.
Who can see a photo I share?
Only the audience you pick — your friends, your neighborhood, or everyone — and every photo starts as “Not shared”, meaning only you. What people see in a feed is a separate copy with the location and camera information removed, never the file you uploaded. (On a walk it is different: the walker who led it sees the photos as you uploaded them.) One thing to know: a shared photo has a web address that anyone holding it can open while the photo is shared, so treat a shared photo as something that can be forwarded. Stopping sharing kills that address, but it cannot take back a copy someone already saved. See Privacy Policy section 4 for the detail.
How do I report a photo?
In the American Dogs app, open the photo and use the report button. There is no report button on the website — email info@fabrechew.com instead, which also works if you have no account or if a link reached you from someone else. A reported photo is normally hidden while a person looks at it, usually within a day. A report sent from an older version of the app names the member rather than the photo, so it reaches us but cannot hide anything on its own — we act on those by hand. We never tell the person who shared it who reported it. Anything involving a child is urgent — see our Child Safety Standards, which also explain how to report without an account.
